This iconic Plymouth landmark stands proudly on West Hoe, overlooking Plymouth Sound and offers the most breathtaking views over to Mount Batten and Drake’s Island. The Waterfront has been substantially refurbished after suffering major storm damage of winter 2014 and reopened on 25 March 2015. The Waterfront offers an extensive seasonal food menu from breakfast, and offers breakfast daily from 0900 - 1130 and traditional Sunday roasts from 1200. Upto four real ales are served, with the House Ale, Smeaton's Ale, brewed by St. Austell, and a regular changing guest ale. Historic Interest

Grade-II listed 9/11/1998, List Entry No 111 3298, Legacy System No 473461, exterior listed. Harbourside pavilion, now a restaurant. Late C19. Stucco with Tuscan pilasters or half-columns dividing bays and moulded entablature; panelled parapet with moulded cornice; flat roof. Symmetrical plan with articulated front with bowed window bays flanking a square central porch and bowed 1:3:1-bay wings set back on either side. Single storey with C20 windows to each bay except for the half-domed niches flanking the wings; all windows with glazing bars including central round-arched porch window with fanlight head. Glazed doors to sides of porch. INTERIOR: not inspected. Included for group value.
