Very warm cosy traditional country pub, no jukebox, no fruit machine but a great real fire and very friendly locals. Brilliant walks from the front door with a car park just down the road from the pub and walks to Haltwhistle and the Lambley Viaduct. New landlords (2025) but still keeping it in the family with Adam and Hayley taking over stewardship of this cracking pub.
