This Pub is Closed Long Term

NOTE - closed after Xmas 2016, future uncertain. This pub originated as a grocers and beer shop in 1836. Came under new management in 2013. Beer selection is likely to change as customer preferences are ascertained. Live music Friday 8pm, Food availability not known, Underground: Highgate and East Finchley. Buses: 143 pass the door. 210 pass through and 214 & 271 terminate in Highgate Village nearby.

Planning granted Feb 2018:- Demolition of an existing two storey side extension to the existing pub and the construction of a two storey dwelling to facilitate the creation of a two bedroom residential unit. Internal reconfiguration of the existing pub and the ancillary residential accommodation at first floor to create a one bedroom apartment with private access.
