Located next to the River Dane, a former vicarage (grade II listed) built in the 18th century forms the core of this hotel. Starting from the extreme left there is an attractive beamed, "public bar" like, pool & TV room. In front of the main entrance door is a hall area with small tables and a window into the (wine) cellar. To your right as you enter is the large lounge bar area with tables set for dining and a dedicated dining area beyond that. Between the pub and the hotel is a function room that can be used for dining.
Up to two cask ales are available.
The ground floor is level throughout, but there is no disabled toilet. The Hotel does however have one disabled room.
There is no bus service passing the hotel but Holmes Chapel is just over half a mile away.
This Pub serves 2 changing beers and 0 regular beers.
