Still operating as a B&B.
Welcoming atmosphere at this reopened free house (10th December 2016) after a total refurbishment, inside and out. The regular beer is Butcombe Original. One of the other two hand-pumps has changing beers from a wide range of brewers (Often Courage Directors). The fourth hand pump usually carries a real cider. Board games available, located in the Pool Room.
May 2024. Pub closed but the B&B still functioning.
Historic Interest
