Opening in Summer 2021, the Vaux Brewery Tap has expanded such that their brewery operation has moved to Charles Street near the Wearmouth Bridge. The taproom is now only open on SAFC matchdays. They serve mostly keg and bottled beers . Buses stop nearby and Stadium of Light Metro Station is about 5 minutes walk.
