Opening in Summer 2021, the Vaux Brewery Tap has expanded such that their brewery operation has moved to Charles Street near the Wearmouth Bridge. This allows the tap room to expand Opening hours now are only Friday and Saturday. They serve mostly keg with an occasional real cider. There is a bottle fridge with a large selection. A Japanese catering truck is available on opening days. Regular buses stop nearby and Stadium of Light Metro Station is about 5 minutes walk.
