The Tynte Arms Inn is a traditional village pub on the edge of the Quantock Hills close to the town of Bridgwater in the village on Enmore.
The pub itself dates back to 1848 and was originally 3 farmer's cottages. The name ‘Tynte’ has been rooted in local history for many years.
One of the legends surrounding the birth of the name 'Tynte' is of a young knight of the Arundel family who went on crusade with King Richard the Lionheart.
The pub has an adjoining restaurant and a pleasant courtyard garden. There is a cosy bar with its original beams, leather sofas and a real fire.
