This Pub is Permanently Closed
Pub closed, Feb 2008. This comfortable pub is an integral part of a Victorian manor house in its own grounds, which also form part of a holiday complex. The main bar room is wood-beamed and sub-divided into several distinct drinking areas, one of which is a no-smoking annex and another a carvery. Bar food is available, and there is a separate restaurant. Real ales vary, but always include a selection of locally-brewed beers such as those listed. The Skinner's Blonde is chilled. Buses stop on the main road a few minutes walk from the entrance to the grounds.
