This large pub, formally known as The Navigation/Trent Navigation was redeveloped in the last three years as a country dining pub. It is a single roomed pub with a seated dining area and a small bar area, separated by the entry Both are comfortable areas to eat either the bar meals or from the more extensive restaurant menu. Handpumps usually supply national beers to a good standard. The garden to the front of the pub lead onto the River Trent and not surprising this pub can get busy in the warmer months. The lock marks the point where the River Trent and River Soar meet with the beginning of the Erewash canal. There are a number of mooring points for short stays. A large free car park services the Trent Lock area and its does get crowded on bank holidays.
This Pub serves 3 changing beers (Three Guest Beers) and 0 regular beers.
