Trawden made national news by bringing the pub into community ownership alongside their village shop, library & community centre, making this a very unique place to live. This traditional village pub serves delicious homemade food, has a fantastic drinks offer - including local real ales and craft beers, will be hosting a variety of events including Sunday quiz night and live music, and has four stunning Bed & Breakfast rooms. Offers 3 changing cask ales,1 regular cask pale ale (tbc),1 fruit cider on draft,3 craft ales.

2021-11-24 A community group in Trawden have successfully raised enough funds, to be the only village in the UK with a community-run pub, shop, community centre and library. The Trawden Arms was listed as an Asset of Community Value in March 2020 and the community had until the end of May 2021 to raise enough money to buy the pub and keep it in community hands. A Community Benefit Society was formed, the Trawden Forest Community Pub Group Limited, and 320 shareholders provided the funds for the purchase to be completed in June 2021.
