Traditional open plan pub in a town with historic links to the civil war. Note the photos of local 'Cavalier' bonfire events that have been going for over forty years and archive prints of regulars. Good atmosphere with a real fire in the main part of the bar and a small dining area at the rear. There is a spacious function room/restaurant with real ale at the back of the pub on the way to the patio where occasional live music events take place.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer (Often from Holsworthy Ales) and 1 regular beer.
