Reopened in May 2022 seven years after having been badly fire damaged. Now owned by City Pub Company.
The entrance foyer contains a cinema ticket booth to remind customers of the building's heritage. The ground floor, Assembly Hall, features a long bar with an array of keg taps. No cask ales. The kitchens offer pizzas and burgers. In the basement there are two shuffleboard tables and a small bar as well as access to a small riverside decked area. On the first floor there's Electric Greens, a nine hole golf course, and also a small bar. On the second floor there's another small bar and an extensive roof terrace. All floors offer views across the river.
Historic Interest
The site was formerly a cinema that opened in March 1925 and closed in November 1956. After many years as an electrical warehouse it became the Fresher & Firkin brewpub in 1995 before becoming the Graduate. Wetherspoons extensively refurbished the pub, opening as the Tivoli in 2010. A serious fire in March 2015 gutted the upper floor and caused the roof to collapse. It has since been sold to and restored by the City Pub Company, reopening in May 2022.
