Large, suburban main road local in a building that dates from the 1930s. Twelve handpumps offer a changing range of ales from brewers large and small, near and far, with milds, bitters, stouts and speciality beers all making appearances. There is a quiz on Mondays, Board Games Night on Wednesdays and Bingo on Thursdays. The pub also hosts various local groups. Occasionally social trips and brewery visits are arranged. The beer garden is popular on Summer days. Families welcome until 9pm.
