Two-roomed stone-built Victorian pub in the heart of Chapel Allerton but keeping a traditional village atmosphere. Built in the early nineteenth century it has been a pub since at least the 1840s. The public bar is to the left and the lounge to the right. The central bar serves both rooms and up to eight cask ales are available, mostly from local breweries. Quiz nights take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays and occasional theme nights are held. Dogs are welcome in the Public Bar.
