Friendly pub situated in a pretty village with historic connections to the Methodist revival in the 1700s. The landlord is an enthusiastic supporter of real ale and the pub serves two, normally Wye Valley Butty Bach and another from a Welsh brewery, often Evan Evans or Monty's. There is a main bar, small dining room and function room. The outside seating area overlooks the village square and is a lovely place to enjoy a beer in the evening sun. The Outside Inn is a beautifully constructed wooden undercover drinking area with TV showing sporting fixtures. Pool, three dartboards and WiFi jukebox in the function room. Excellent value evening meals and Sunday lunch with home-cooked specials. Monthly open mic night.
