Suffered significant damage when a runaway artic ploughed into the pub just as ownership was due to be passed to Black Country Ales. It was reported in the local press on 15/3/25 that planninng permission has been granted to rebuild the pub with the addition of an extension.
Small, cosy traditional roadside pub with large car park, outside drinking/smoking area & beer garden. There are plenty of brass ornaments dotted around and there is a small lounge which doubles as an eating area. There are darts, dominoes, chess & cards available for games fiends, together with sports TV, juke box wi-fi. In winter there's an open wood fire both inside and in the covered smoking area.
Has had a couple of changes of proprietorship over the last 18 months and was lattlerly for sale. It is reported on 8/11/24 that it has been bought by Black Country Ales. Details shown here are therefore likely to change significantly, hopefully for the better.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 2 regular beers.
