Currently closed.

Plans to build four one-bedroom apartments alongside a smaller pub were approved in 2022. A new full electrical installation was completed at the property and registered with the council this year. [Leicestershire Live, 28/11/2025]

There have been rumours started by a Reform UK councillor about the building being used to house illegal migrants in the future. Ignore these and treat them with the contempt they deserve.
