Two bar village pub set in small square opposite primary school. Interesting collection of oyster plates adorn the bar walls along with other artefacts. Friendly welcome from long-serving landlord. Restricted opening hours in winter. Jazz jaming sessions Wednesday. Adjoining tea room open during normal business hours. The enclosed yard to the rear of the skittle alley is a peaceful haven for a glass.
