Opened on 18th March 2020 two days before the first Covid lockdown as a real ale and craft beer micropub and kept itself going through the subsequent restrictions with a local delivery service. Four handpumps plus eleven taps dispense real ale, craft keg and cider from around the country although local Hampshire and Sussex brews are usually available. The style is bare wood minimalist but a vibrant buzz is generated by the varied clientele and the jazzy background music. Payment by card only. Two adjacent premises were procured for an extended drinking area, opened in April 2023, and a brewery which became operative in October 2023: up to two constantly changing craft keg beers from the Ten Tun Brew House are dispensed from dedicated taps. A public car park (paying) is available at Lady Place adjacent to Market Square.
