Pleasant riverside inn near the Swinford bridge and probably built at the same time. It dates from 1776, and was renamed the Talbot in 1836 - a Talbot is a now extinct hound - but was often referred to as the Wharf Inn. At the end of the 19th century was owned by the Oxford Canal Co. and the tenant was responsible for the use of the wharf and weighbridge. There is seating alongside the road to the front and a riverside patio to the side.
This Pub serves 2 changing beers and 1 regular beer.
