Set in a quiet village, this friendly community freehouse is handy for attractions such as Centre for Alternative Technology and Corris Railway.

Landlord's own artwork on display. The T2; longer-distance buses ply the A487 across the bridge. The front patio is used for alfresco drinking, with stunning views across the wooded Dulas valley. Opening hours may vary - ring to check if time is critical.

But there are two steps up to the pub - rear entrance which is wide enough for a wheelchair - no ramp, so assistance would be required and a small step inside the pub. No 'accesssible' toilet but sufficient room for 'street' wheelchair in existing toilets - not enough room for an all terraine chair.
