This is a club, which means that the bar may be only open to members.

A one-storey, bungalow-like clubhouse overlooking Hinksford Lane Playing Fields. The single-room lounge has two distinct, carpeted drinking bays carved out by fixed seating. The entrance for the bar is at the rear of the venue and is accessed by walking along the perimeter of the dipped cricket pitch.

Not open during winter September to April. Open mid April to mid September one day only. Times are unfixed and seasonal and the bar might be hired out for private functions during the winter.

NO REAL ALE served. All beers now served in bottles as no dispensing taps at all.
