A large, friendly, and comfortable village pub, concentrating on food. Two real ales on, from Butcombe and Otter. June 2026: Note misleading dispense of Otter Amber Fresh Keg with fake handpump!

There is a large car park at the rear of the pub.

A few minutes walk away is Westwood Manor, a lovely National Trust property and also Iford Manor Gardens about a mile west.
