Family-run, friendly local with a separate restaurant specialising in home-cooked Italian food. The interesting historic building with a distinctive frontage is said to have been an orphanage and monastic house in earlier times. Possibly one of the oldest buildings in Ryde, early photographic evidence shows it as an isolated building some distance from the shore line. A must for anyone interested in architectural curiosities. There is a small car park to the side.
