The town's largest boozer with an imposing frontage. Various areas lead away from the bar counter, with many areas in view of TV sports. Accommodation is in an elevated modern block to the rear, above the car park. Breakfast for both hotel guests and visitors served from 7am until 11:30 followed by a Carvery and wider menu from 12 midday. The small outdoor drinking area doubles up as the smoker's den.
