Formerly a furniture store, following the COVID-19 pandemic the owners converted this to a cafe and cocktail bar. No real ale available but beers from local brewers available from keg and in bottles and cans.
The venue describes itself as the area's brightest hangout and that is certainly true with neon lighting, bright coloured walls and a long open-roofed garden area that is perfect in the summer.
There are plenty of events at Stir Stores throughout the year, including a weekly quiz on a Thursday and frequent vinyl sales and art displays.
