Bought by Harman's in 1865. Effectively a two-bar establishment on the eastern fringe of the village. The pub attracts a predominantly local trade, including refugees from the nearby football and cricket fields, so unsurprisingly it is the meeting place for various sports clubs. Dalmatian dog miniatures feature within, as do lined glasses. An intensively bedecked patio supports an impressive floral display. Close to Harefield Hospital and Mount Vernon Hospital is a short bus ride away making the reasonably priced b&b ideal for visitors and patients.
