This is a quaint country pub where the focus is on quality dining, but where, nevertheless, a comfortable bar has been retained to complement the spacious modern restaurant area. The building dates from the 17th century and there are extensive gardens. Horses, dogs, cyclists and walkers are all welcome.
After a period of closure it was taken over by Craft Locals and re-opened late May 2026. The emphasis is still on fine locally sourced food, but also on craft and cask ales. An internal refurbishment has taken place and a crowdfunder has been set up to revamp the extensive beer garden.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 0 regular beers.
