The Sheraton Grand Hotel overlooks Green Park and this hotel bar at street level takes its name from a fictional 1920s duo, Detective Inspector Smith and socialite scoundrel Mr. Whistle. The conceit is that they were sworn enemies who occasionally had a truce to meet in the bar and swap secrets! The bar manager describes this as a casual and friendly bar serving draught beers, bottled beers, cocktails and spirits with an option for guests to have light English bar snacks. Dress code is described as dapper. Four draught keg beers but no cask ale; beer flights are available plus a good range of bottled beers. See bar website for offers.
