This is a narrow pub with high set tables. You just go in and sit down, the staff will come to you to seek your pleasure. You have a choice from four regionally sourced ales (five at weekends) or ciders which are always in good order. For the hungry there are bar snacks or you can bring your own. This is always a friendly place to take the ale, and closing may be later than advertised depending on demand.
