The Ship Inn is a real asset to its local community. It can be found on the main road through the village, which is a much quieter road since the by-pass opened many years ago. The regular Winchester-Alton buses stop outside. It is located close to the Watercress Line preserved steam railway. After a closure for change of ownership and substantial renovations & modifications the pub reopened 19th August 2025. Some of the details on this page may not have been updated yet.

Historic Interest

Late 18th century or possibly earlier, Grade II listed. Historic England list entry 1155381.
