After closure in 2015 and operating since then as a series of ethnic themed restaurants the Anchor underwent a major refurbishment before reopening as the Ropley House on Friday 18 September 2026. The owners wish to make it a community centred village pub. The cask beers mainly from local breweries will change according to customer preferences.
