The pub is currently closed. A notice on the door says the building was repossessed and the locks changed on the 4th of December 2017. It has been empty ever since and seems unlikely to ever reopen.

Historic Interest

Recently (some time between 2006 & 2009) extended to provide a restaurant area. An advert in the The Bury & Norwich Post** on Tue 13 March 1866 lists this pub as part of the sale of Stonham Brewery together with 26 other premises. In 1901 listed in Wick Green Photographs of this pub and more historical information about it can be found at suffolk.camra.org.uk/pub/242
