An attractive, welcoming country pub situated in the Severn Valley within walking distance of the Jenner Museum, Berkeley Castle and Deer Park. As well as an inspired selection of up to six real ales there are nine real ciders and perries, two keykeg lines and an extensive bottled beer and cider menu. There are three bars, two of which share a central wood-burner; and a skittles alley/function room. The pub is popular with walkers and cyclists and there is a child-safe front garden with a children's play area. Locally made hot pies are served on Friday evenings and weekend lunchtimes. Live folk music and piano singalongs occur regularly. Winner of several CAMRA awards and named CAMRA National Pub of the Year in 2014. Brewery on site, producing Tiley's ales which are sold locally and in the pub.
