Formerly a Wetherspoon but now sold in to Inntuitive Inns who took over in August 2023. It is continuing to sell Real Ale but is unlikely to use all 8 handpumps inherited from the previous owners.
As they are still ascertaining the level of demand for ales, no details are yet available as to what beers to expect.

It was a renovation of the historic (and long derelict) Saltoun Arms Hotel, built 1801, comprising several interconnecting low ceiling rooms, including a lounge area to the left of the entrance, which does not have a bar and was not in use on a recent visit (Ealy Septemer 2023). There are many power points throughout, which will be handy to charge your mobile, tablet or laptop.
A garden area has been created to the rear (see photograph). Also offers accommodation with 11 rooms, previously at a rate of £60 per room per night but this is likely to be more expensive under new owners.
The Scottish Lighthouse Museum is close by, as is the main fishing harbour. The main surfing beach is one mile South.
