With a mock Tudor exterior in the middle of a housing estate and near to the local Academy and Fire station, this has a public bar, a games room with four dart boards, two pool tables and a very large lounge bar with an 84" TV screen, usually featuring sports.

The location belies the formidable reputation for a regular supply of a variety of quality ales from throughout the country which has helped boost the CAMRA membership numbers in the area. 50p per pint CAMRA discount applies on production of membership card.

The bar also features well over 200 malts - the largest collection in the area.

CAMRA Pub of the Year 2011 and recent winner of the SLTN Beer Quality Award.

Approximately one mile from beach, harbour and lighthouse museum.

Note that hours may vary dependant on football matches on TV.
