The Running Horse Pub will remain at the corner of Davies Street and Davies Mews undergoing renovation works to repair its historic features as well as creating guest bedrooms in existing rooms on the upper floors. Previous pub description follows.
Grade II listed square shaped lounge bar with panelling to the ceiling. One of the oldest pubs in Mayfair, licensed in 1738 and rebuilt in 1840. Now an upmarket gastropub with four handpumps for real ale; prices reflect the Mayfair location. A horse-themed cocktail bar named The Whip is above the pub and can also be hired for private parties.
Note that alcohol is not available before noon on Sundays.
