This Pub is Permanently Closed
Pub closed Autumn 2013, being converted into flats. This large pub is located right on the main road near the town centre. The two ales listed may increase to three during the summer months when a guest beer appears on the scene. The pub is popular for food, which is available 1200-1500 and 1800-2100 daily. Outside drinking is on a patio. The Talbot allegedly acquired the addition to its name after a visiting royal seduced the landlord's daughter and subsequently gave the pub the royal seal of approval!
