This roomy three roomed pub, first licensed in the mid-1800s is known locally as the 'Top House', due to its location at the top of the notoriously steep Lindale Hill where carriers' horses could be changed on the way west. Now food-led, with an East-West menu, featuring Japanese and other Asian-inspired dishes along with pub classics.
