On the A417 between Gloucester and Ledbury, The Royal Exchange is a country pub with drinking and dining areas, a log burner and amazing views from the heated decked area.
Food is prepared using local, seasonal ingredients. There is often live music on Friday evenings.
The pub is a freehouse, changing hands in 2012, and belongs to a local farming family who have lived and worked in the area for generations.
Historic Interest
It was established around 1855 and is on the site where, it is said, Cavalier and Roundhead prisoners were exchanged during the English Civil War, hence the pub’s name!
This Pub serves no changing beers and 2 regular beers.
