Fine, attractive pub with curved frontage, situated on Rochester High Street very close to Rochester Bridge.
It was a family run business since 1999, owner Steve Kray, until purchased by Shepherd Neame in 2019.
After a period of closure for a total refurbishment it re-opened on Saturday 25th November 2023 with a new name too.
A landmark Grade II-listed hostelry dating back to the 1860s, now furnished to a high standard.
Upstairs there is a small bar (with one handpump probably for infrequent use when acting as a function room), a large seating area and 3 large TV screens plus a small dining area looking over the Medway.
Four handpumps on ground floor bar but only two seen in use recently - November 2025.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 1 regular beer.
Cask Ale
