This Pub is Permanently Closed
The Browning family has run this thriving country pub since 1979. The pub is well renowned for its food and the ingredients are locally sourced from quality suppliers. The Sunday roast is particularly good.
The pub interior has a cosy feel and by the bar you can peer down an old well shaft. Lots of bric-a-brac and prints adorn the walls.
There is accommodation should you wish to explore the magnificent and historical countryside. There is some outside courtyard seating at the front of the pub.
Sadly the future of the pub is uncertain as there is an application to turn the pub into a private dwelling.
