A large pale green painted building and grey painted window surrounds, with a large car park occupying a prominent position in the old village. Outdoor drinking area at front and in rear garden. Open plan layout featuring country wooden beams, old and new furniture and open fireplaces. Reopened after full refurbishment. New tenancy September 2024.

Historic Interest

Recorded as a public house in 1876 under publican Thomas Claytor (Post Office Directory).

Asset of Community Value nomination by the Nottingham Branch of CAMRA rejected by Rushcliffe Borough Council on the grounds that the Branch did not have a local connection, 5th April 2016.
