Large pub occupying a prominent position in the centre of the old village. Inside there is a lounge, two bars and a dining area. Major refurbishments are now complete, including a kitchen refit and there is a separate new function room with flagstone floor and open fire. Locally sourced produce features on the menu. Beer festivals are occasionally held. At the rear is a small outdoor area with a large 'hidden' garden to the side.
