This pleasant rural pub is situated on the left hand side of the B5470 just as you leave Rainow village, right on the edge of the Peak District National Park- the Peak Park millstone boundary marker is just opposite the entrance! It has recently been refurbished and now looks very smart and cosy. A large car park and garden area with large decking space are out the back along with a covered smoking area. Food is traditional home made, Quiz nights are held every Wednesday. Up to three beers available according to day of week. Occasional live bands and themed evenings. Rainow is an ideal start/end point for walks along the nearby Kerridge Ridge and hills of the Peak District. Children and Dogs are welcome, provided they are kept under control.
Accommodation is available in three en-suite rooms in the refurbished adjacent barn.
