This Pub is Closed Long Term

This old pub has several small steps in it which make it difficult for disabled access and being a listed building makes it difficult to alter this. Was mainly designed for dining but with a small bar area.

Four hand pumps, but none are in use with no evening pub service of any kind. Pub reopened after lengthy closure but closed again in 2023.

Planning application to change from pub to dwelling approved in Nov 2023, then Bucks CC approved application to demolish the pub and build a four-bed dwelling (24/03033/APP)

Historic Interest

Built early 19th century to profit from the building and use of the Grand Junction canal.
