A tidy traditional premises with trade predominantly from the local community, attracting a mixed age group. 23/01/2015 -opened with emphasis on cask ales by an enthusiastic team led by former proprietor of WF6 Brewery which was located nearby. Wakefield CAMRA Pub of the Year 2015 , the pub has decided to remove the cask fonts due to the lack of footfall.
