Impressive country pub situated in large rural grounds along the Leeds-to-Liverpool canal about a 20 minute walk from Burscough village. The huge split-level interior boasts stone and wood floors with a number of separate areas for food and drink. The pub benefitted from an extensive refurbishment in 2023 and has three handpumps serving cask ales, with St Austell Tribute as the regular, a rotating pump of bitters including Otter, Southwold and Black Sheep and a 3rd pump for general rotation including Wainwright Gold, Ossett Blonde and Dizzy Blonde among others. The pub serves food all day, everyday, and the downstairs bar is available for private hires up to 100 people.
