This is a hotel, which means that the bar is only open to residents.

Built in 1898 this large 32 bedroom seafront hotel was a local landmark and had a very popular downstairs bar open to the public selling real ale. It finally closed in August 1991,was sold in October 1992 for £450,000 and demolished in 2001 before being rebuilt as flats.
