Family friendly free house, believed to date from the 17th-century, set in the idyllic village of Uplowman. The pub offers good-value food lunchtimes and evenings in the bar or restaurant. There is a large garden, and a skittle alley. The guest beer often comes from Nuttycombe Brewery. Limited parking is available at the front of the pub, extra at the village hall. Will close early if quiet.
Accessibility access - Level door to the left use corridor at the entrance to access both sides of the bar due to the step in the middle of the pub 8 m to disabled WC outside of the key is behind the bar.
